Amnesty International South Africa made a submission on the Climate Change Bill which is an important tool in the fight against climate change.
The climate emergency is a human rights crisis of unprecedented proportions. Climate change threatens the enjoyment of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, including the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment, of present and future generations and, ultimately, the future of humanity.
